sailfish

Today aboard the Wicked Cuda Center Console with Captain Andrew, we took advantage of picture-perfect spring weather to do some kite fishing offshore — and the conditions delivered big time!

In no time, we hooked and released a spectacular Atlantic sailfish, known for its acrobatic jumps and lightning-fast runs. Shortly after, the blackfin tuna bite turned on, and we managed to land several hard-fighting fish, with the biggest pushing 30 pounds — a true springtime trophy!

Tactics & Gear:

  • Kite fishing with live bait (goggle eyes & pilchards)

  • Light tackle setups for exciting fights

  • Target depth: 120–250 feet

Spring fishing in South Florida is heating up, and now is the time to get offshore for sailfish, tuna, mahi, and more. The conditions are ideal, and the bite is only getting better.

Book your trip today and get in on the action!
